Jal Computers changes ownership 4:32PM, Tuesday 11th April 2006
Jal Computers has changed ownership, being acquired by Sartac Limited, but the new owner states that existing customers and their warranties will be honoured.

The company was acquired for no cash outlay but on the provision that Sartac did not take on Jal's debts. The only alternative, a spokesperson for the company told us, was to shut down the company. The decision was taken to keep it trading.

A company spokesperson told us that staffing levels had remained the same. 'They have been kept at the same level with the same staff,' we were told.

The company's website remains www.jal.co.uk with contact details also remaining unchanged. It operates out of Stoke-on-Trent.
