    Snelgrove resigns from Tory caucus

    MLA Lloyd Snelgrove has left the Alberta Progressive Conservative caucus.

    Snelgrove was the finance minister in former pemier Ed Stelmach's government, but was not invited to the cabinet table by current premier Alison Redford.

    The news was tweeted Friday by Redford's chief of staff, Stephen Carter.
